BRIDGE BUILDING

In December we built a bridge from newspaper and tape. Firstly, we researched different bridges around the world. We decided to build a tower bridge like London Bridge.
We rolled up sheets of newspaper to make the bottom of the bridge stable. Then we built the towers by rolling up more newspaper and sticking the rolls together with tape. We put the two towers in a triangular shape to balance the weight of the bridge.
We tested the bridge using weights. We found out that the bridge could hold 3.6kg (3600g).It took a lot of time and work to finish the bridge and we are very proud of it. We call our bridge ‘The Pyramid Bridge’ because it is a triangular shape!
